How Long to Steam King Crab Legs

King crab legs are delicious and easy to prepare. Today’s blog post will teach you how long to steam king crab legs while providing an exquisite steamed king crab leg recipe.

Usually when you buy king crab legs, they’re going to be pre-cooked and flash frozen (unless you live right by where they are being pulled off a boat). This ensures that you get the crab legs at their absolute best flavor as crab meat tends to spoil very quickly. It is best to thaw king crab legs in the fridge for 8-12 hours before you need them. If you need to thaw them on a short turnaround time, you can run them under cold water to help speed the thawing process along.
